Roasted Broccoli

I love broccoli- fresh, steamed, sautéed, or ROASTED. What have I told you about roasting things? Seriously- it makes everything so delicious! Have you tried it yet? Fall is the perfect time for it! Deep, earthy flavors fit perfectly into the season AND you can heat your kitchen at the same time. Tell me you’ll do it.

 

This is how I prepare my broccoli for most dishes- broccoli beef, broccoli quinoa casserole, etc., or just to eat plain. And it’s what makes my broccoli and cheese soup sooo delicious.

Prep: 5 minutes

Bake time: 15-20 minutes

 

fresh broccoli crowns (I usually do 3-4 heads at a time to fill a large baking sheet)

avocado oil

pink himalayan salt

granulated garlic

 

-Preheat oven to 400.

-On a large baking sheet, arrange broccoli in a single layer.

-Generously drizzle with oil and follow with a good covering of salt. Lightly sprinkle with garlic.

-With your hands, mix well to give all sides of the broccoli a good covering of oil and spices.

-Bake for 15-20 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized on the bottom.

 

I like mine with a really good caramelization and some crunch to it. Bake yours to whatever suits you. :)
